I think it was in a 100k game that Kuningas really discovered the strength of Feudalism. I am not sure it is applicable in this game but would like us to at least consider it. Monarchy has it's benefits though I generally go for Republic, more often by default, maybe this game with lots of ICS science cities we should also consider Monarchy as has been suggested. OTOH with high numbers of towns the maintenence costs for units in rep is also less of a problem so I am not in a position to be sure about any option right now.dmanakho said:Monarchy or Feudalism are interesting choices.
I have no experience playing Feud though.
we shouldn't get Poly for Philo. I am sure Ottomans are researching it and likely somebody else also at the moment. MM is for sure being researched by many AIs as well. MM is very popular for AIs to research at the earliers opportunity
CoL or Currency are the best techs to get for Philo if we get there first that is. Shmiddi should you be get Philo during your turns please stop to discuss the options.
As for the military builds - we will need few archers to hunt barbarians. If you think you don't need anymore archers and horses aren't connected build workers. You can't have enough of those. Once we connect horses - chariots and horsemen only.
First it finish the warrior with tiles worked according to the 1750BC line. In 1725BC when the Warrior is built it starts building a Settler. Just as explained in the spreadsheet (though I still forgot to adapt it to say Warrior not Archer as the build finished by 1725BC).schmiddi said:So Z switches to settler, ?
I certainly agree with that.Kulko said:I think it should be decided at the point of researching Philo, but if we can reach one of them in a deal we should take it and switch there. The added speed will make up more than enough for the slight difference it might make.
