SGOTM 14 - One Short Straw

Bbp, I thnk we should just go all out building units and settlers. Build those warrior pumps. Send all our GK units toward the Mansa hub cities and then toward his spoke to bottle it up.

Meanwhile our southern galleons need to load up and hightail it for Oz. Keep the galleon chain connected to it to load maces onto it from behind.

Two keys for the chain. The 5-mvmt galleons will tend to run ahead of the chain so that armada also needs to start with as many 4-mvmt galleons as possible. They will be there to extend the chain. From the start of the chain, we can extend it, if we run out of built galleons by using the cahin going to GK. Just move that chain backwards and it pushes the Shaka chain forward. This is also a way to push units from GK into the Oz armada, if we have any extra in GK that aren't needed for Mansa. That way we can get the armada loaded asap. Newer units can go toward Mansa.

There are five pillages this turn E of Karakorum. Don't need to worry about the pike this turn. And that worker can move to road under the Turfan pillagers next turn so they can move quickly.

Ning-Sia has two pillages that need to happen before it expands it's borders. YOu might build the theater this turn instead of culture.

Don't waste those maces on Magyar. They're far more valuable for Oz. Be patient with Magyar and we'll get soem trebs there.

Btw, I'm still tempted to finish the FP. If it can help delay the strikes for a turn or two, it's probably more valuable than lost maces.

South of New York is the only one actually.
Do you have the workers there? I'd go for it. We want to fire up our worker pumps and NY South needs to build culture and theater first, mandatory. Also, you shhould be able to build the mine first. That's better because then we get more culture hammer overflow into the theater. COmplete the mine before hitting 10:culture: if you can do it in 1 or 2t.

I'd also keep moving the settler along the southern coast of Tonsberg so it can settle soon. And send those units from Boston down there too. Maybe leave one defender behind.

Don't forget we have the Great Wall, so barbs can't enter our borders, but I did see a free barb axe just north of Boston and a barb archer killed two of our wrkers in that area earlier. So the settler should have an escort--maybe the WE for now.
