SGOTM 16 - Kakumeika

Yes, I think you can smash that rGH for a little bunch of gold. Anyways, if you want Louis to support the worker, smashing won't slow down the party.

In the test game, the axe was going south west for guarding a future city site. We don't know yet what's up there, but perhaps there's a city spot there.

My guess that axe was rushing for the weakest, which was the worker, moving along forest tiles.

Eve has few choices: 1S or 1S1E. 1S1W have the maximum risk. If we want to explore, then perhaps take that path for a one turn risk against barbs.

Tolosa seems to be guarded by one archer bound to remained in the city at all cost. If the build doesn't show any sign of another archer, perhaps go 1E to Tolosa and use horses tile to hasten even more the worker arrival.

Well done, Walter!

The defogged coast shows that our trade routes will stay open even after Bibracte's next cutlural expansion. That's excellent.

We might need a bit more pillage gold for T63 Math, but we'll see. SO far so good.

I can tell right away that archer moving out of the capital is a UNITAI_ATTACK one, that is one prone to retaliate.

Oh, only 5 gold, that's bad luck for a mine.

A question:

at 80% slider, buffy shows +35 bakers. do we get 35*1,2 = 42 or is our commerce already been multiplied and 1,2 prerequisite added to get 35. I am considering saving a few coins. We get priesthood with as low as 50% slider.

phood : 64/93 ... 50% = 26 bak. So, 26*1,2 = 31,2 RDown = 31, enough to go over 93.

Can get 2 gold this way. We're at 10 atm.

12/3 = 4 turns of 100 % slider.

or, that overflow can make a difference for faster math?

btw, Bitracte is at 223 !! sabotage prod. 5 pop still

Can I know what is the investigate city value of Bibracte and how much espionage he has invested into us. Usually, it's the left number while hovering his leader name.

^
In fact, what you gave me is 2 of the 3 needed parameters.

You gave SabotageProduction value, but I want InvestigateCity in the corner up to the right.

Ok, Bibracte has stocked 27 :hammers:. Sadly, that looks to be another metal unit. Was just missing 2 hammers for him to finish the build.

OK, I'll go with 80% slider, in the hopes that 35*1,2 = 42 and one free baker (no rounding down). We get 2 gold this way.
At 100 % it's 42 * 1,2 = 50,4.

No, the OF formula had some ******** rounding down IIRC. Maximizing beaker rate will certainly maximize the modifier=1.2, but there's a rounded OF when we're gonna start the next tech.

Beaker rate = floor((regular beakers + 1 freebee)*Modifier) + floor(clean_OF*Modifier).

43*1.2 = 51.6 ==> 51 bpt.

26 :science: missing to complete PH. Thus, 51-26= 25 OF.

But that's not the clean OF.

I suppose if we take 22 bpt out of 43 bpt, it gives 26.4 beakers.
Thus, clean OF = 43-26.4=16.6 ==> 16 bpt.

[43*1.2]+[16*1.2]= 51.6 + 19.2 = 51+19= 70.

Now, let's suppose ....ok, now it gets too complicated. I don't think I get the thing.

Sorry WW.

Anyways, that's just at the worst 2 beakers lost I think due to the double rounding. It's not we're gonna lose out of this.
