We are due some good luck??? Would we attack a mini stack on a hill with an archer? I doubt he will see much action till we have to attack another city. We could gamble but the odds are not in our favour. Remove him and higher chance we lose 1st combat. We may need him if we have to attack an archer on a hill next turn.
Started playing some Everquest for now, maybe some of our US guys wake up soon
Lymond has been offline forum wise since 3rd September.
Ben may come online I guess. Has been daily so far.
Pepe was last online on 5th September. Not sure why he is not posting. Masters?

Could PM Pepe and Izuul to see if they are still playing. We need more activity for sure. I am off out tonight.
Hopefully more comments will come. City micro is pretty muc h sorted. Just a case of units to front line. Science will pick up with G lib. Then we could run more scientists in Wash. More HA would be useful. We could use a further city to pump units.

I do think that we need to send a HA down to the southern city to see whats there. So maybe we could send the shock HA down. So we can protect it, yet do something useful with it. We could save the promotion of the other HA until we can see what is in the southern city. Hopefully once we take the city, we can get a ceasefire or peace treaty to regroup and whip more HA, especially once TGL is built. We could bulb something for trade bait once the GS hits, if we get one. Compass should be up next until we get CoL. We may yet get to storm GK's capital with HA, since construction is a ways off.

Hey Folks - Sorry for being incommunicado the last week. Crises on the homefront. Haven't been on the interwebs much less thinking about Civ. All good now. Need to catch up today. Have no clue where we are.

Looks like I didn't miss much. Not even a page of discourse since I left. Well, I think we all need a little break after barreling through the first turns with twice the post count of any team and at least twice or thrice the number of turns played.

I mean, I suppose we've decided on construction then? If so we only need enough HAs to take his southern city before it builds or whips too many reinforcements (while holding Beshbalik, of course). Then see if we can get peace, wait for some catapults, maybe pump out another settler or two while we're at it?
I have no idea of how the prgress went. I'm looking at the save now, but it'll be a while before I can understand our position... a recap would really help.

I haven't read any comments, so bear with me if I reeat anything that has been said. If we want to continue warfare then construction will be necessary... trading-wise this is pretty much the worst tech, however, since everybody and their grandma gets this tech pretty early. What do we want to do with the Mongos? Wipe them or trade them for peace at some point?
