The question is do we have to make contact (via exploration) with a Lady's civ before completing any of their tasks?

Not if we do most of our lurking from our phone and have little or no access to the game. :p You have no obligation to humor us, just putting the request out there. :)

The game is running for 17 days now. 101 days are left (85%).

well back in the past the standard was kinda something between 1024 and 1280 so the people at work could check and not cry...but not gonna force anything on you...

we take ...well basically anyting that can make the reading more colorful (and btw I am sure every team member appreciates pictures too, that's meant for all the teams...)

My email notifications just went berserk as well. It looks as if the forums had a meltdown, as I had to log in again from scratch.

    I guess a 1920 x 1050 screenie might be difficult to display on a phone :)

Hey, it wasn't that long ago I was compressing images to 640x480 in a 256 bit web safe color palette.

    Massive spoiler ahead (not really...):

I tried to make the game interesting from start to finish. If your plan is to be super careful during the early turns because the second half of the game will be easy and you can just play quick turnsets back to back you might be wrong. Not trying to push anyone, but the idea occurred to me that some of you might be going with wrong assumptions. Maybe I'm just a little too worried :)

Submission page is down for SGOTM. Not sure why. Affecting other members too of our team.

Sorry, you will have to wait for the server to be rebooted. See my announcement at the top of all forums.

It seems like we are not allowed to beg anything from William if we want his advice. Does demanding count as begging?

Yes. There is a section in the rules about it. No begging or however you want to call it from William or any other AI you buy info from.
