Now I'm wondering... why send all those workers to Fred. Fred has some workers and won't need much help 5 turns from now.

Fred is also not closer to the action than Canal or even Athens. Especially if you think about Sal and the ferry boats.

The two incense workers could ferry to Athens.

Long-term, imo we should think about having quartets of workers dispersed along the Orient Express so they can mine coal on T(rr)-1 and rr on T+0. Other than that, the workers might as well do their best to

• chop hammers into units or
• improve either research-producing tiles, especially for idle citizens,
• or hill roads.
• whatever I left out.

I don't remember seeing any Churchill workers on his main land.

Btw, I assume we'll just gift Stalin 4 cities and re-capture for the instant capitulation. I'm not sure what other requirements there are, such as average power and all that crap. But it would be nice if we could do that asap. Use NOttingham and three KK cities or Mehmed's, for example.

Wouldn't we prefer for barb land units to spawn there instead of down by Gandhi or who knows where PITA else? Just keep the axe in place and Persepolis is safe.

Kind of suspicious we haven't seen any barbs spawn n of persepolis. Too few unowned tiles? Doubt that. Already spawned barbs in the arctic? COuld be.

Or maybe they spawn in teh fog and go sraigth nw. Most likely.

My thinking had to do with hiding from his northern workers and capturying them after Bombay, same turn. I thinkn he's got some workers on the sugar, so those are available from the hill. If there's no latent Gandhi culture on the hill, then farther workers are also available.

But putting a unit on the hill will scare the workers on the sugar I think.

I would use our super medic last to capture the farthest workers with his 3-mvmts, if possible.

Or we could put him on Bombay-sw if we're going to road it. That would give him more movements to capture workers, if needed. Lots of options.

yep, already planning to do that, I might not even move back exactly.

Don't forget to do all the city MM. Thebes isn't working any hammers right now, but we decided it would. That knight can take out Gandhi's SA archer if needed.
