[BTS] SGOTM 26 - Home Slices

With the forest growth messing up Rex's moment, I plan to build a partial road on the horse tile this turn and then move to the forest next turn. Cool?

T76
Judaism was founded in a distant land.
Forest grows at Science-SE. This is good and bad. The bad is that now Rex can't move to the first he intended to chop into Clam City's granary.

Crap!
That 1 in 500 chance for forest growth couldn't wait 1 more turn!

We will have to work the PhillMine in Clam City T79 after all.
We can chop granary T80
and use the Avoid Growth, and it should be ok.

Just send Rex to chop Clam City as normal please.

The lost worker turn means Gems Mine will be 1 turn late on T86 now unless we abandon the farm 1 turn from completion for Clam City. :hmm:
The other gems will also be 1 turn late on T88 now.
We can still send 3 workers to Cow City for Mids on T88 though, so it should not delay Pyramids unless more forests grow...

OK, partial road this turn and then to the forest next turn.

We can rework the MM after T80 to fix the Gems situation, right? How critical is that farm in Clam City, for example?

geez, we can't scrape up 1 worker turn?
Working on it, hang on.
The only slack I can see might be skipping the Deer road repair.

**Edit**
Ok ya.
After Chopping Cow City T79, Phillip can help finish the road 1S1E of Science City on T83.
That way we can have both gems and farm done in time.

It costs us 2 worker turns though.
Stupid forest costing us 1 worker turn already hurt plenty!
Well, 1 turn of road on horse technically isn't a wasted worker turn.

We need that Heretic Worker from Canal City some time in the T80's :deal:

We just met Peter in the NW. Should we OB with him right away? I'm assuming yes.

A new AI!
Ya, Open Borders sure.

Peter is someone very good to tech trade with.
Will need to play with Test Game and compare to real game to find out if he knows Iron Working.
Then we need to decide if we want Alphabet or Iron Working after Bureau, because trading for Iron Working is better than researching it ourselves.

We won't be able to trade resources with Peter until you unfog one of his cities' coastal tiles that are inside his borders and that city is connect to his capital.

Find us more AI

I suppose we want Peter to meet SB (for tech trading some day).
Where is SB scout? Maybe we can help them meet with a well-timed OB.
I was thinking we'd hold off on OB until we need to pass thru him. (prevent him getting Circumnav)

Odd that Peter would have found us in a couple turns anyway. What took him so long? Maybe he needed a culture bridge over ocean :( That would mean we can't pass thru but he can.

hold on. OB?

I've saved and stopped for now. I have a call in 12 minutes. I have not OB'd with Peter yet. Let's agree on what to do. OB will allow Peter to meet SB. We could wait and OB when we get to Peter's border by which time his wb will have turned the corner and headed back home.

The circumnavigation bonus?
I completely forgot about that. >_<

When should we Open Borders?
