I'm not bothered by a seven-man rotation, since we play quickly, and the usual problem with a long roster--boredom between one's rounds--is unlikely to arise. So I vote to keep the team together.

I pmed a few people. If we get a couple more interested, we will have to do two teams. I would be fine with a 7 man rotation as well, and love the company, but Im just concerned that we need a "Darth Wacken" to compete against to keep it fun.

Have you seen? Hendrikszoon signed up for one of our splits. Do we split? I'm fine with seven person rotation. Who signs us up?

Hendrikszoon was interested last time around (SGOTM 9), and I sent him a PM to gauge his interest this time. He was pretty interested, and I would hope he still knows how to play civ 3 . Does anyone know anybody else to fill out 2 five man teams? I would be fine with a long roster, discussion would be good, but 2 5-member teams would give an opportunity to play quite a bit more and competition. If we do get 2 more people, we could let Gyathaar assign the two teams.

That is nice. I think we should split the team if we can find some 2 more good players. Maybe someone is still around from team Wacken?

lurker's comment: Are you guys signing up? I'm currently putting together the teams we have so far, and the game is due to start in six days. As far as I can tell, Hendrikszoon is the only player to have declared an interest in your teams, apart from your private discussion here.

There are a few uncommitted players you may be interested in asking to make up two teams - check the sign-up thread. But please don't delay too long!

How should we split?

My proposal would be:

Klarius, NP, Ronald as the remaining original team Klarius

Obermot, Killercane, ThERat as the second core

Crackie and Hendrikszoon to original Klarius and 2 new player to the other team. Any Comments?
I think we should sign in tomorrow.

I dont want to be looking for two replacements, I think each team should have to pick up someone additional (4 and 4). Dont care about roster for either team. Anyone know two more good players to make this easier?

OK, let's assign Crakie and Hendrikszoon according to who they've been communicating with, so that gives us

Klarius-Ronald-NP-Crakie as the continuing Team Klarius, and

Rat-Obormot-Killer-Hendrikszoon as the new team.

And each team can find its own, er, fifth member.
