SGOTM6 - Xteam

Graphs look great. I just dl'd the new version myself.

Hmm - I guess I'll need to download it, too, before I play my turns.

Cool graphs.

I should warn y'all that it might take me several days to play my turns once Leif completes his - RL is keeping my plate pretty full (and it doesn't help when you get distracted reading blogs about the Terri Shiavo case and the two hours you were supposed to spend studying patent law are suddenly gone and you almost miss the bus to campus...) But I'm looking forward to the (self-defined) legitimate distraction of keeping up the goal of at least 60 cptpt. :)

What is team tao posting so much about, anyway? :hmm:

I don't know, but I hope it's not trying to keep ahead of us in spam...

And we should start posting more to give tao the illusion that we're in some sort of trouble...

Well, we are, kinda, but we have the gold-ness under control... kinda. :)

Well, if they're trying to keep ahead of us in spam, we'll just have to keep posting. :) Actually, they're only ahead in absolute numbers. We have a higher ratio of posts per turn.

I wonder how many of the non-players following both threads are laughing at us right now because our speculations are so off - or so on.

Just trying to find a topic for us to spam on, after all. :)

Well, their 750 AD mini-map posted in the spoiler shows a Babylon that has almost wiped out the Americans. Perhaps the Babs have turned hostile. :mischief:

Or maybe they've forgotten about putting cities on wealth or hiring taxmen and they're broke? :hmm:

I wonder if they encountered a military disaster... :hmm:

Don't forget they did not have to battle BAB or FRA earlier in their game and they may indeed be facing a situation. Or they're just after the spam award

Well, if they're after the spam award, we'll have to do what we can to make it difficult at least. I wonder if anyone has told them about our aim to thwart such a plan?

Would that be against the rules to to report to one team what another team is speculating about concerning them? :hmm:

Team tao smells like walnuts...

Hmm... I think Babylon might be posing a problem to them... Maybe they are in total corrupt Communism like us and can muster enough military?

Supposing you're right, think it will push their victory date back much?

And now you've got me thinking to our game - I sure hope the Babs don't give US any trouble.

All depends on our military strength. As long as we are not "weak" to them they should not attack. Besides with rails we can quickly move our FRA squad towards their border. A better option would be to trade with them on a regular basis even if we just gift them our map every few turns. Because we have been actively fighting while pushing our culture I don't think we have anything to worry about from BAB.

But who can figure out the AI at times. In a HOF diety attempt I'm playing a 2 city China just declared war on the militarily strongest civ in the game. Go figure.

Yes, on team tao.

That's what I thought. :p So let's build a spaceship and fly to their planet with our cav armies. We could probably take out a bunch of cities before they know what hit them and seriously hurt their culture production. And then we'll go to the other teams' planets and weaken them enough for us to easily reach 100k culture first. And then we win. :D Yay! :crazyeye: :crazyeye:

I doubt our single scientist will want to work overtime...
