Well, Ive finished and we are still alive just about, but it was very tough. A lot of AI invaded us, and I didn't come close to invading the Zulu or anyone else.
350-150bc
First move the threatened worker by Delhi.
As we are in anarchy not too much micromanagement should be required.
ibt
Zulu land 2 reg warriors next to Delhi, and the damaged Impi retreats to hill. Viking galley next to north India. Another Viking galley sails close to Istanbul.
330 vet horse in Delhi kills one warrior, reducing to 2HP. Our army kills the other one but goes all the way down to 4HP in the process, that's 4HP lost attacking a reg warrior in the open. It doesn't leave anyone left to attack the damaged Impi on the hill, as I don't fancy attacking with only 4 HP left. This probably wasn't the right decision as that one damed Impi caused a LOT of mischief in my turnset.
COL, start currency.
I can bearly kill 2 warriors in the open, I can't see how I can attack any time soon. The whole Indian island has only 3 units: 2 damaged horsemen and a 4/9 army, I think it needs reinforcing.
Viking start Sun Tze
ibt the Impi in India captured Calcutta!
Viking med infantry spotted by southern galley
ibt Vikings land 2 vet swordsmen right next to Istanbul.
290bc
Kill one Viking sword with vet AC which promotes to elite (4/6).
Kill second Viking sword with an elite sword which reduces to 2HP, no leader though.
Position troops in India to retake Calcutta.
ibt Viking galley lands 2 swordsmen next to Bombay, one 5/5 elite and one 4/4 vet.
Zulu impi exits Calcutta and dies attacking a vet horseman.
There are 2 more Viking galleys to our south.
270bc
Our army kills the first Viking sword with 0/1 HP loss and then goes all the way to 3HP before killing the other one.
I lose a vet horse attacking the vet Impi left in calcutta, and lose, taking only 1HP. Give up on the attack for now.
ibt Vikings land a vet sword and spearman next to Aydin.
Zulu land Impi and warrior next to Delhi.
250bc Vet horse kills the Viking spear reducing to 2 HP.
Elite horse kills the Viking vet sword reducing to 2HP, no leader.
Delhi has a new AC which attacks the Impi right outside and wins, reducing to 1HP.
Vet horseman kills the accompanying Zulu warrior without loss.
ibt Zulu land another Impi next to Delhi.
230bc
attack vet Impi in Calcutta with horse and win but there is another one.
attack second Impi in calcutta and lose but Impi down to 1 HP
attack the 1 HP impi with a vet horse and lose, the Impi promotes to elite.
I have lost 3 horse in the black hole now.
I have nothing left with which to attack the Impi next to Delhi.

210bc Join a vet sword to the army, and then kill the wandering Impi near Delhi.
190bc Learn Currency and start construction.
ibt Arabs are building Sun Tze and (gulp) the Vikings are building Leos.
Zulu archer and impi land next to Delhi.
170 Kill the invading zulus with a sword which redlines the Impi, then an AC and an elite horse.
ibt another Zulu archer Impi pair lands next to Delhi.
a Zulu archer leaves Calcutta (which is making a unit a turn it seems) and goes to mountain next to Madras.
150 Kill the zulu Impi with an AC who falls at once to 1HP, bur luckily wins anyway.
The other AC(4/5) just about kills the Zulu archer.
The army goes toward calcutta, and surely we can recapture it next turn.
My turns are over, which frankly is a relief as that was very tough, just to keep alive. I haven't come close to attacking the Zulu, and am in fact still one town down (Calcutta). Hopefully we can take it back soon with the army.
I came disturbingly close to losing the army twice, and have now reinforced it to 3 swords.
At least our military has improved. Calcutta has been a sore in my side the whole time. I have lost 3 horsemen trying to retake it, the last one losing to a 1/4 impi.
Construction is due in 3 turns. Let's hope for a good free tech.
A Persian galley on our west coast hasn't landed anything yet.
The Zulu archer on the mountain near Madras needs dealing with next turn.
Some pictures for you. I am afraid our lands are a little smaller than before.
It is possible we have weathered much of the storm for now, and may be able to mount an attack of our own. Of course the Vikings starting Leos is ominous news. Perhaps we should consider building a large navy and attempt to sink all of their galleys.
