Refining is due in 4. Rome is running away a bit. Japs are 2CC.
We are railroaded everywhere. Its time to think about merging workers.
A few civil engineers cuts our 'duct work.
IBT
Rome comes to renew peace deal (we were getting 6gpt). Since it doesn't really impact our plans either way, I decide to renew for now. We could always break it. We won't need to deal with him at this point. At least we won't have to deal with ironclad bombardment for now.
Trenton hospital starts on stock exchange.
[1] 1605AD
Our defense could use some upgrades. I upgrade a couple muskets. Refining and oil due in 3.
Rome and England both have Steel AND Refining.
[2] 1610AD
Another SE is started.
IBT
Ragnar doesn't like paying to the man, either. I don't see a reason to keep the peace with Ragnar. I like getting money from him. We'll say no way and renegotiate in a few.
The Vikings pull a boat up next to empty Palo Alto.
Pollution strikes Newark, but it builds its hospital and starts on Intelligence Agency, due in 10.
[3] 1615AD
Viking boat is redlined, pollution is cleared, Newark set to grow again.
I have fun bombarding some Viking coast.
IBT
Viking boat heads home with tail between its legs.
Refining comes in. Steel is due in 8, so rather than turn off scientist so we can buy it, I'll research since IA isn't due for 9.
[4] 1620ADC
We could trade for steel from Rome, but I see no reason to send more gold his way. Steel is due in 6 at -22gpt.
IBT
Rome and China sign peace.
We spot Roman transports and destroyer. They have combustion. Where do they get these wonderful toys?
[6] 1630AD
Did I fail to mention we have oil at Chinese Choker?
We redline another Viking Frigate.
IBT
Vikings head home again, still landing nothing.
St. Louis starts the heroic epic.
[7] 1635AD
Hoover Dam in one. Since its due in one, Hoover is a slam dunk. I'll trade Electronics to England this turn for as much as we can get.
IBT
And then...
We can build Battlefield Medicine... Maybe we should?
Pollution in Trenton, unfortunately its overseas. Maybe the Vikings will clean it for us!
[8] 1640AD
Nada
[9] 1645AD
England lacks oil, btw.
IBT
Oh, oh!

I guess no more trading with Greece!
Rome and Greece sign peace.
Steel comes in, set to combustion, but we'll be stealing from now on, right?
We lose our spices. I missed where we were getting them from, but only Rome has them available. Only Rome has combustion. We might have had Chinese spices, which are now Roman. I'd rather not deal with Rome, as we have 10 turns on peace to squeeze them. Plus we'll be stealing from them soon.
[10] 1650AD
Hmmm. I'd like to renegotitate incense from England, but we can't buy because its tied to peace. Liz will definitely cut off incense in the IBT since its basically cost free. I renegotiate getting incense for dyes and wines, plus continued peace.
Oh cool, the 15gpt deal still stands, I thought it would break at renegotiation time.
Upping lux rate to keep people happy will cost us 108gpt! We'll use clowns to keep impact small and keep money pouring in. Hmm, upping lux is unavoidable I fear to keep cities growing. I get away with lux rate at 10% and a few clowns and extra specialists. We'll have to watch this turn by turn.
We may want to deal with the devil (Rome) for incense or start building some happiness buildings to keep our large cities content and not so luxury dependant.
Only active deal besides with England is 10 turns of peace with Rome. Ragnar still won't take peace.
We're pulling 364gpt right now. Intelligence Agency is due in 1.
Oh right. The save:
Steal baby, steal!
