Just wanted to say I'm back from a 3-days hiatus due to a hard fall on a bike roadtrip; will be back with limited computer capacity (glasses died and my old ones hurt my eyes) until brand new ones come about (they were already ordered wednesday, 2nd time I've bought glasses and lost the former pair in that kind of accident while the other ones were coming about, making the last ones I haven't lost pretty old and misadapted).
Right now, to help my blurry seeing eyes blur even more, I have the old 15" screen from my mom's 133 because my screen fused over the week-end. I'll have it looked upon and/or get a new one from my July conference/summer bonus pay
Bottom line is that by wednesday, I'll most likely be back to full SPAM-mabilitysation.

I can PM Alan if you want to be a "Lurking" member playing a turnset when the mood hits you. If you do the latter then no replaying or playing ahead until the game is over.
We were supposed to have 1+ member anyways, I'm all for it - though I suspect he's lurked around other threads as well...

Sometimes, lots of spam can be a bad thing

By executive fiat, BeF gets a promotion to Commandant of Cadets at the Academy. I'd like to shadow this.
I'm shocked, awestruck by this merry surprise and just about crying about the honors.

BTW- i guess teddy bear is up
Alright, so I'm up but won't have it today nor tomorrow. I guess the war happiness will be fast earned and we can take advantage of it for a little while. On the time interval between WH and WW, we can post spears on the hills to make their troops go around the hills and jungle through the grass and snipe them from above. Alex will draw their defences out and we come back around to take Beijing and the Pyramids with a swarm of archers.
I don't think we need to raze much for now since we won't have much direct cultural opposition for a while, especially under war circumstances. Great worker/settler situation, I guess I'll just have to show a lot of people how to use 2 sticks and a rope together to act as a ranged axe.
