New York cavalry -> cavalry
Phili cavalry -> cavalry
Seattle cavalry -> cavalry
San Fran TOE -> cavalry
Pick atomic and Electronics!! Combustion due in 4.
Buffalo cavalry ->cavalry
Washington switches to Hoover, due in 5, clearly just over 200 shields to go.
I dont trust those Romans further than I can throw them. I break for the night and ask the team.
I decide I am not going to give the Romans tech. They are currently giving furs and 90 gpt.
I give Rome coal for 31gpt, 7g and WM, hopefully this will keep them sweet. I dont know what happened to their coal, and they have some unroaded in their land anyway (near Japanese border).
I try a bit of forestry with workers, fiddle more with micromanagement, and then spacebar, holding my breath about the romans.
Ibt Romans declare the MI relines the lone cavalry in Anyang, but dies. It looks like breaking the bank in gpt for nationalism would have been the thing to do.
Lots of Roman galleons appear and disappear just to north of Anyang.
Japs move 2 galleons next to our gem colony in the south.

Boston cavalry -> cavalry
New Orleans barracks -> cavalry. The city is starving, I had better address that.
We are down to 6 lux and gpt is now -73.

Three Roman Galleons are next to Baltimore. We have 23 cavalry, but are still weak compared with them.
Atlanta cavalry -> cavalry
Chicago cavalry ->cavalry
Vikings finally have Invention!
Ibt One vet Roman cavalry lands near Beijing.

Kill roman cavalry next to Beijing with a cavalry.

Combustion -> flight, due in 5 at 100%.
Seattle cavalry ->cavalry
Vadso worker -> harbour
Japs have Nationalism. The price is high WM, coal, gems, 13gpt, indust and electricity. However, mobilization sounds good, and the Japs building railroads also sounds good so I buy it.

Hoover Dam: Golden Age.
Boston cavalry ->cavalry
Atlanta cavalry -> cavalry
Chicago cavalry ->cavalry
San Fran cavalry ->cavalry
Miami barracks ->cavalry
Buffalo cavalry ->cavalry
New Orleans cavalry -> cavalry
Flight due in 3 now we are in Golden Age (ie 4 in total).
Washington can make a cavalry every turn now, and 9 cities can make one in 2 turns.
Some of these have horrid overruns and I switch SF, Phili and NY to banks.

More cavalry ->cavalry builds. We have 37 now, still weak compared with Rome.
Houston starts a factory.
Science rate down to 80%. Flight still due in 2.

Rome MI land next to Beijing on hill, killed by cavalry who promotes to elite.
More worryingly a Roman longbow lands next to our English base, Vadso. The worker there runs away, hopefully he can still make an airstrip when we get flight next turn.
For some reason I need 90% science again to get flight next turn.
I havent mobilised, as we are still building a few potentially useful factories, and are likely to switch to bombers next turn which wont get a bonus. I dont think mobilisation will get many/any more cities to 80 spt anyway.
The Romans still wont talk. It will be very irritating if we have to research rep parts ourselves after all this.
We have finally exceeded our unit limit and are paying 20 gpt in support. We have 43 cavalry, weak compared with Rome, and strong compared with all the rest.
The next turnset should be fun with flight. I only hope we can still build an airstrip on the English island.
PS. civ assist wasn't working for me at the end, so it is only now I see there is going to be a 73 beaker overun for flight next turn. If you want you could change some scientists around to avoid this.
Unless we reduce to 5 turn sets, I guess these may be my last turns, so good luck!
