shadows vs Khazad

And I remember the AI using spies quite readily in vanilla Civ.

- Niilo

Not sure but i think that the clan shouldnt be able to build shadows. (That is if they can ). This is because orcs and goblins dont seem to me to be those that can get away with spying with their looks. The same logic of cities should go to the clan. Not the smartest lads but i doubt they would be folled by a dirty elf as a orc LOL

I lost a freshly made Bambur (strength 8.4 (innate promotion) in 0.15) to a shadow.

I think the idea of Khazad cities not being attacked by shadows might restore some balance to them.

Hm... you know, if you were just building Bambur while the enemy had shadows (tier-4 units unless I'm mistaken), the enemy might have had a doublewin situation going on.

I think this would only be possible if they'd have strength 0.
Hmm, I wonder if they could enter cities when including an event that reduces unit strength by 9 when attacking a city.

Problem with an assassinate spell would probably be the AI can't use it.

i don't think you can currently debuff a unit from a positive base strength to a zero stregnth, as far as i know. You can make Worker units get +1 str from the great commander however(i know for certain)

Sureshot I was Ljosalfar with one city survival game vs 4 teamed AI - I'm not completely sure what happened - maybe I was much slower than their team, even to this extent!, or perhaps I was teching the recon path more (which is I think the reason). I think the reason I got Bambur a bit late was that I beelined the recon path to get rangers then beastmasters.

BTW I have Gilden with 10,000 XPs!
