In the army I did a 15-mile trek, carrying a light machine-gun (no, it wasn't very light  - about 10 kg's) and a landmine (it was actually just a "placeholder", weighing about 8 kg's).

Something similar for me. The distance, I carried another piece though - a 'light' rifle, only 4.7 kg. Nice experience - the buttstock crashing into my back all the time and the tip of the barrel knocking me repeatedly on the back of my head. Not to mention that I was way out of shape at that time.

Its either the one time during marathon where i did not train suffciently and nearly died or the time when i danced for 6 hours straight until dawn, went and dig a ditch 10m long and a meter deep in half a day and nearly died :)

Last Sunday I was skateboarding without water in 95 degree:cry: weather for 4 hours. That was intense.
