After. I'm an electric-shaver user, and I find I can't get a good shave with an oily face.

I think the question you should be asking, is Is do you get out of the shower to take a leak?

You wake up in the middle of the night thristy and busting for a leak; take a shower and kill two birds with one stone!;)

After. With an electric razor and opened pores you don't NEED shaving gel or cream. Go electric! (I switched from plain rasors just a year ago and I cannot believe the difference!)

Side poll: What's the hardest place to shave without cutting yourself? I'd say the back of the lower jaw because it's hard to shave round a corner.

After. You need to soften up the skin with the hot water of the shower. And I shave with a razor, which is much better than any electric I have tried.

During for me, too....I don't know why guys complain so much when all they have to shave is their faces. ;)

Guys complain because if we mutilate ourselves shaving, it's impossible to hide. You women shave your legs. True, it's a greater surface area, but the skin on the legs is less sensitive, and if you cut yourself you can hide it by wearing slacks. If we cut ourselves, we have no choice but to go around with our faces looking like hamburger. :p

Oh yeah, after showering for me. My electric shaver does a better job if my face is nice and clean.

LESS SENSITIVE!? Do you know just how high the typical woman shaves, Switch625? "...and if you cut yourself..." :cringe:

During, for me. Just soap and a razor. The other hand checks for rough spots.

Becka: Doesn't stubble in the bathwater leave you itchy?

The best shave has to be one done in a sauna with a blade - smooth as!

Anyone tried those electric razors you can use in the shower? They seem a little pointless to me:confused:

As for women shaving - I watched my girlfriend shave her armpits in the shower once - talk about quick job! The speed of her strokes and apparent lack of any sensation of pain on her part led me to conclude that women have it much easier than men in that respect!

Before. I have an electric which needs dry skin and I a shower takes away the stinging sensation.

About cutting yourself. It is difficult (but not impossible) to cut yourself with and electric. Though I have had a bit of blood from just above the lip.

Nope. I don't know why, but surprisingly it doesn't for me. :king:

The hardest part for me to shave is the back of the knee. First of all, its seems easier to cut yourself, but also you have to contort yourself into positions the Kama Sutra ommited for reasons of decency just to get there.

Girl powerrrrr!

NOOOO!!!!!!

....Sorry, Spice Girls flash back....

Every father knows about those fine hairs behind the knee. My son is nearly walking, and, when I'm standing facing the toilet, he hoists himself up with a firm grip on those hairs.:aargh3: Maybe I should shave 'em.

ahhahah you bastards, im 17 soon, and still don't have to shave.

Im so lucky :D

 wow

always before, it seems much easier with an electric...

If I'm taking a shower, than I shave before..if I'm taking a bath, then I do it afterwards.

I don't use electric razors any more. It doesn't get a close shave so I find myself having to shave more often than if I used a blade. I have also managed to cut myself with one..just like Becka said, the back of the knee is a tricky spot so I have knicked myself there quite a few times.
