Remember that Sheep's Internet Access is currently restricted because he was a bad man who downloaded too much, like 12 Gigs or something, and then his ISP restricted his internet to like a 28k modem or something.
First update will be as soon as we have one more player. I have several people willing to join this as soon as it makes it to a few updates in.
So the schedule is, 1 update every 2 days for the first 15 updates. At the stage I can re-evaluate and change the temp if needed. Remember the mods job is to keep it intresting for all players at the same time Anyways, all I require off the players is the occasional stories and the orders on time.
So one more player, and the first update is two days from that point.
As for the Map I will be posting a blank one on the start map post I reserved so please look at it and tell me where on it you wish to start. Obvioulsy you alrteady have fair ideas and if you say nothing I will put you in that general area.
I Wish to expand down into england, get some prime real estate, also i want all the islands around britan (isle of man, hebridies, shetland, orkeney. This should help my eco a bit *whislte nice rich famrlands ) Invest money in eco growth.(and the eco if i gain anything from the rich farm lands! invest invest invest expand expand expand!)
I would like to expand west along the coast of the Black Sea, and establish coastal/fishing colonies along the way. Since there's not much to do right now, invest credit in growth as well. The idea is to keep exploring along the coastline of asia minor, as the land in the middle is harsh and rugged, so it'll be tough to settle it as of now. Also being near the coast should make transportation/trade better.
Can you guys please tell me how you will be expanding and what you will be spending your credit on. Please read the rules if you need clarification Other than that they look good! Also this is onlyt 2000BC, expansion will be slow and ardous. Look at the map I will be posting soon to see how big you are at the moment
Establish settlements throughout the peninsula of Attica, at Piraeus, Eleusis, and Marathon (all OTL sites). Use the stickmen as guards in all settlements, divide them evenly between the four (25/ea.), and put 25 slingers in each settlement, too. Put the credit per turn into growth investment. Attica is fairly good farmland, and has mountains in the north, so it's easy to defend. It's also very small, so we can expand this way very easily
EDIT: Just looked at Kal'thzar's new orders, eco is like 1/0/0/0/1, just like his.
To expand use my army to protect settlements from attack: So basically if i start at the top half of scotland (+ isles) i would have a settlement at Aberdeen, and i would get one built at inverness (called, Inverness!).
the expansion would be to establish settlements in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Army about 75% in the two new southern settlements as they are the ones in the direction of 'barbarians'. Edinburgh and glasgow are on pretty good land (i.e. its not hills ) and the rest is on hills so i can defend that quiet well...
You know i really need the map.
After a bit of research, i have found something out there was gold in the UK....i refer to the Kiloden gold rush. So i want some gold retreival, also there are abdundent sources of copper and tin in the UK so i'll get me some of that too. One question does this require economic point investement?
Based on the map, i would like to send 50 stickmen and all my rafts to the site with the fishes and timbers, and establish a settlement there. The fishes will provide food and the timbers will help production. 25 stickmen will remain and guard the city (it should be somewhere near the iron source), whereas the last 25 will be sent to explore the east and map out where various resources are for future purposes. My starting site shouldn't be that far from the silver/gold resources in the map, so the exploring stickmen shall settle near those sites once they reach there.
