@Moonsinger: You're welcome!

I never though I could teach you something about this game...
@Takeo: Cool, someone checked out my game!

You're correct in your observation Takeo. I did make a change in city placement style. I did this during recent GOTM's, in particular GOTM21 and 22, and IMHO that was a large factor in my improved play (especially in GOTM22).
I am now very much convinced that my new (2-tile spacing) style is better, because you win/lose the game in the early stages, and then you have only small cities, so why space them wide and lose out on all those tiles that could be worked. And by spacing my cities closer I have more cities with good/reasonable production, due to a smaller effect of corruption due to distance. Although the corruptio due to city rank is bigger, I still think this is better.
BTW I played another 40 turns in my warlord game last night and I can now say I already have the highest warlord score ever (maybe there was a higher score when huge maps were larger, but I don't know)!

It's now 1750 AD in my game, so there are still 200 turns to play and I already have slightly over 11K in points. Though my increase per turn is down to somewhere between 40-45 per turn, I'm not really sure, I think I can add another couple of thousand points to this.
All my cities are just on wealth right now, with 3 or 4 exceptions, who are building the interesting wonders. I've got all city improvements I want in my cities, so it's just milking all the way to the finish line now...
