I do not know, I did not follow that issue (or other previous OT issues) much. It was before they succeeded in drafting me to be an admin after 7 years of trying. For several years previously, my non Humor and Jokes activities were mainly in SCOTCFF appeals, a selection of issues that the admins asked me to consult upon, improving liaison between moderators and admins, and recounting older CFC tradition and mythology to the staff and membership. Were there not enough members who liked the Tavern/Chamber split for inertia too win?
Sounds like a mess waiting to happen. Does this mean that any and all sports, history, science, arts, computer, and "humor" stuff that anyone wants to post in OT will be automatically allowed?

We have now sorted the last bit of policy pertinent to this thread:
The previous policy of moving threads started in the OT, which were more pertinent to one of the other Colosseum fora, to such other fora is now ended. Henceforth, absent special circumstances, such threads will be left undisturbed in the OT, so that the thread author may have the the wider audience if he wants it.
So this has clearly been a mistake. Any chance at rolling back this policy? We have now sorted the last bit of policy pertinent to this thread:
