Should we value family first?

Humans are not a collective being. We are individuals, therefore individual concerns come first.

Maybe if we were ants or something, we would think differently.

Ok but the thing is, why?

Because when i was a baby and couldnt walk or talk or feed myself my family were there for me, not any strangers. And when i was going to school they feed me and clothed me and gave me a place to live. And if i ever have a problem they take care of it and me. My Family (and friends) have done so much for me, strangers have done nothing.

The thing is Why? would you ever choose a stranger over your family or friends?

and because i know in the same situation they would take me.

The better question, is Would you save yourself or your family?

Also it isnt so stright forward. If it was a 5 year old girl or my grand dad, i would save the girl because i know my grandad would want me to.
