Hrm, this might be a bit off topic with everyone focusing on the Doviello, Illians and new features and such.
I really liked the idea of Divided Souls for the Sidar, I was just thinking. For example boats have skeleton crew, longshoremen and such. Perhaps whenever a Sidar unit is spawned they should get some sort of initial soul manipulation after the creation of a House of Grey.

This would be a one-time switch? I suppose it COULD be switchable at a city WITH house of grey...
Like...
Raging Spirit- +20% strength, -20% defense.
Soul Vision- Can see invisible units (adjacent tiles), -1 sight range. (Blinded but can identify the presence of another's soul using their own)

Stuff like that... Just an idea anyways, the Sidar play well already but that seemed a pretty interesting proposition after I played a bit with Divided Souls.
Just something the seems pretty "to lore" after reading the pedia entry.

Aren't they awesome enough? They have a few nice little strategic tricks up their sleeves when you get the hang of them, much better than any 20% combat boni could give.

Such as using up their movement points to attack enemies, then still having that ability to 'whisk' themselves back out of retaliatory range.

Sidar are fine as they are, was just throwing at a flavoury idea ;)

The only thing the Sidar miss are more lategame wonders (but thats an issue not with the civ but with the tech-tree as a whole.)

They seem fully fleshed out now, really. (I haven't even found the time to tinker around with the new divided souls, but sure enough will. They seem very nice on paper.)
