Sirius Intra-Team Pitboss Game!

Okay, hope BLubmuz logs in soon. Been waiting for the new turn for a while. :)

Of course i could not see your answers, it was deep night here.
Tried to connect now, but Mali and Persia are under password. I've read in Fed's post that he removed it, maybe something went wrong.

In any case, the result is that i can't connect.

Okay, so Dave will have to kick Fed's civs to AI so that you can log in. Darn, this is going to take even more time then. I'd like to get to the next turn already. :(

The best i can do is checkin' this thread every few hours, then play my turns quick.

OK, I kicked them while it was still paused, hopefully and it looks like it might let you in. I think you can log in to both of them without unpausing, to keep the AI from taking one of the turns.

Sorry, i logged to the game and found a desperate situation. Wrong research, wrong units, anything is lost. I can't recover such a game. If anyone wants to try, good luck.

I prefer not to waste my time in sure loss.

Anxious for another wonder to complete? :p
Eventually, yeah. It was more that I was getting frustrated with a relatively small game of 7 (now 6) players moving so slowly, and then getting paused to boot. :)

Okay, no worries. Thanks for looking into it anyway.

From the talk, I'm guessing there's a war of sorts that must have just started on the eastern continent. Haven't seen any cities change hands in Civstats yet, but usually when people suddenly drop out it's because of being declared on when hopelessly outnumbered. Of course, it'd be nice to have them play to the bitter end, but each to his own. ;)

It's much nicer when it's your rivals who are being fought to the bitter end though. ;)

Darn it, grant, you forgot to end one of your turns - you've been holding up the turn flip for 5 hours now! :p

It seems there's always something... just once I'd like to finish a turn early again. ;)

Oops sorry about that. I'll take care of that right away. I wouldn't want to delay another wonder for you :P
Heh, thanks. Not a big issue, it happens to all of us once in a while. :)

I find it amusing that of the 2 casual games Dave has going (this one and the Test Pitboss), all of the French nations have been eliminated already. Both of the teams that had a French nation in them were eliminated first in this game. Overall, five nations have been destroyed so far across the two games; three were French, one was Ethiopian and one was Mayan.

Perhaps it's some sort of jinx to pick a French nation. :p (Or perhaps it's just coincidence.)

Yeah, funny that. Huayna's a good guy to have on your side. ;)

Azz, you only finished one of your turns. ;)

I'm fully aware of that.
Okay, no worries. It just looked odd because I would have expected in wartime you'd either play both of your turns or neither of them... not one. But anyway, never mind. :)

LP, this is actually our plan for how we're going to defeat you. We're going to drive you crazy with half turns!
