Sirius Intra-Team Pitboss Game!

This post has nothing to do with our intra-team game, but with CivStats.

I've checked their FAQ but I'm still unclear;

Can anyone tell me if loging in will give me additional info on the game?

Also, how do I use just the password?...Or will I need to create an account (even if I currently don't have a pitboss client) to use it with the given password(in this case "sirus")?

The only thing having a civstats password does for you is let you have emails sent to you whenever there's a new turn. You get the same stats whether you're logged in or not.

The Sirius game is down, as well as the MTDG. PM sent to DaveShack.

I did it already.
BTW, the turn timer has advanced to next turn, so i've lost my moves. Not a big deal, but if there's a way to go back it would be nice.

Actually I've just discovered a second benefit of logging in to civstats - you can change the timezone :)
That's true... although again, it's only useful when you're actually involved in a game. ;)

Hmm, I hope Dave will manage to fix things up soon... it's been over 18 hours now. Usually it doesn't take him this long. :)

Civstats shows that Dave completed the current turn, but the host is still down and there're only 5 hours left.

I think that we really need to start from a save in 525 BC.

Yeah, it seems to be one of those times where the server randomly shuts out all the external connections and only allows the host to connect. Apparently Dave hasn't logged onto CFC yet and is still oblivious to the situation. Gah... :p

Sorry, my phone didn't give its customary beep when the PM was sent. So I've been blissfully unaware.

The game was loaded back to the 500BC autosave, since it does not appear anyone other than me was able to login since then. Nothing earth shaking in the moves I took.

Really would have prefered 525BC. I know there were only about 5 or 6 hrs where the game was up during that turn and a number of people didn't play it.

And logging in on year 500 to find axes in my territory sure due to missing a turn didn't help either.

All three games appear to have gone down just now. I was the last one logged in, I hope I didn't do it! PM sent.

server down again, PM sent

Irgy/T. Claudius, did you mean to not finish Mongolia's turn?

My home internet connection died while I was in the middle of the turn (and, by the way, is still dead), so I certainly didn't mean to not finish it when I logged in but couldn't help it. Not sure why T. Claudius hasn't ended it though. He's probably asleep now though, so I don't expect he can fix it.

If the modem I've borrowed works when I get home then I'll sort it out, otherwise it'll just have to run down the timer. Which it might well do anyway, there's only 5 hours left and a couple of different people still to play.

Oops. I've sitting on the sidelines for most of this game and this is probably only the 5th turn I've played, so well... I totally forgot about ending. I was also hoping that Irgy might come back and want to change something.

Hmm, what's with viper1 and viper2? Someone logged in to the AI's, maybe did something to them, and converted them back. And then they were eliminated...

It's BLubmuz. Not sure exactly what he did on that turn, but it can't have been much. The eliminations were going to happen the next two turns regardless. I'm guessing the main purpose was to leave the name viper next to the civs for posterity.
