Skaven development thread

Harking back to what was mentioned earlier, about the Skaven city list crossing over with the Dwarf city list, I was reading about the Great War against Chaos (two hundred years ago).

The Beastmen and Mortals of Chaos attacked Hell Pit in the Northern Wastes, but were driven back by Clan Moulder and then surrounded by reinforcements from Karak Varn.

anyway, i did some research and found these other names of skaven lairs:
- Karak Azgul (Dwarf)
- Karak Drazh (Dwarf)
- Karak Ungor (Dwarf)
- Tobaro (Tilea)
- Ekrund (Dragonback Mountains, near Araby)

NO, not yet, I've got too much else on the go for now.... Once I get the gelnika done, then I'll try it. You people seem to forget I work 40 hours a week, and only have limited time. I kind of overcommitted in the last few weeks and need time to get my backlog cleared out.

Sorry  No problem.

i didn't know you work 40 hours a week...

Well, It's the length of a standard work week in the US. As a matter of fact, the only reason why I've created more stuff in the past several months thatn in the year before that is because I was in the US Navy then, and my work weeks then consisted of working 12 hours a day, 7 days a week when my ship was at sea (which was for most of that year). I am glad that I do have some more time to work on this stuff, but my time is still rather limited.

We'll see about that :) - altough I'm not fond of making units with more than one character. If I'll do those, they'll propably be without the sidekick/team-mate.

I was planning to do that too. i started a ratling gun (there's a demo somewhere around here), based on the pipboy from the Fallout Mod.

that was a single figure one, but i couldn't use it because:

a) there was no space to put a tail
b) the death showed the pipboy being hit repeatedly with bullets then falling with blood spurting everywhere
c) nearly the whole unit was civ coloured.

Both of those weapons should be easily handled by just one skaven, especially the warpfire thrower.

Ok, we'll see about those later then.
1st preview of this guy. Suggestions are welcome.
Note: the pose isn't final (he'll wield that weapon similar to dwarf beheader/dragonslayer)

Maybe slant the torso more forward? And raise the head a little bit?
I can't see the tail, it would be neat if it was raised, and maybe give it a hook or something. And have it moving all over the place. ;)

He's looking good. :)

I thought this might help you Aaglo :) .
