Besides, by my calculations Clovis IV or whoever the Emperor is would be about 87.5% Aquitaine stock by now unless he completely avoided marrying into Aquitaine.
EDIT: Aquitaine also has the closest ties to roman culture outside of Italy. Hence Visigothic Legions and Latin Official Language.
