Specs:
Windows 7 x64
Intel Xeon E5506 2.13 GHz (quad core)
Geforce GTX 460
12 GB RAM
10k RPM SATA drive
My question is regarding the duration to complete 'Next Turn'.
In my experience, it's taking a significant amount of time to take turns. Although Civ5 is multithreaded, I don't actually notice a difference on taking turns vs Civ4.
I haven't measured the time, but turns are taking around 5-10s towards endgame (1900+).
Am I alone? Is this normal?
Thanks.
Edit: Reason being, I have a few hours per day to play at most, and this seems to be taking up a significant volume vs actual play time. Would like to optimize my experience, so to speak.
