Small problem with the map grid while in globe view.

I've got an Intel system with a GeForce 6600 GT installed. Game runs fine, no slowdown, graphics anomalies, etc., except for one thing. When I turn on the map grid in global view, this is what I get:

Isn't that wierd? I've got no problem while in the normal view, as you can see below. If somebody else has had this problem and found a way to fix it please let me know.

oh yeah and if someone can help me get better starting locations that'd be even better because what you see in those screenshots is pretty much standard for me, every time :mad:

I have a 6600 hundred to, and the only problem I experience is that when I zoom out to globe view is see random white and blue lines. This happens in infrequent games though. Sorry, though I myself am still searching for a fix.

Disable anisotropic filtering and see if it makes any difference

How do you do that GVBN?
 
I don't have Nvidia card but I think it's
Right-click on desktop > Properties > Settings Tab > Advanced > Nvidia tab

Actually try changing anti-aliasing and mipmap detail levels as well

Tried it but no change.
