Seems there's a few people experiencing crashes while trying to play on Microsoft's new console. One guy narrowed it down to the power supply, and said Microsoft will send out new ones in a week. Others have certain games crashing on them randomly. Haven't seen a screenshot of a BSOD yet though, that would be really funny.

Anybody here buy one and is having trouble? I never planned on getting one in the first place, I'll save my money for a PS3 or a Revolution, depending on how Nintendo handles the old games.

slashdot has a feature on it, I'm sure many other sites do as well.

Well, it won't play Xbox games without a hard drive. That could count as "doesn't work".

Can you imagine the frustration/dissapointment after standing 12 hours in line to get one only to find you got 1 that doesn't work

I have seen reports of problems,Doesn't seem to be everybody though. Not a good sign to have your new CONSOLE crash with a brand new game..not a good sign at all.

WTH is with MS and their power supplies?...they had a fire hazard with the x-box power supply....

I'll be getting a PS3 but I will not be in any hurry....unless...a new GTA game appears for launch.

Apparently some of the very first PS2's had a similar problem.

Heck no,but many folks did.I have no interest in 360.Only MS products in my home are XP and Close Combat

btw-here is BSOD on what looks like a Japanese 360

srry-edit button DOES NOT appear in Mozilla 1.2.1

I went to the website last day and my understanding is that there are only twenty something games for the new console, most of them Sports or first person shooters,

So, in the end, you are buying a console to play one or two games that can only run on that console.

They'll release more games, I guess, but they will be slight variations of the same theme.

ok who here didnt expect the BSOD from a microsoft product?

thats like going to the zoo and not seeing the monkeys..... just weird.

Just came back from Future Shop, the X-Box 360 with it's high definition TV screen with big cardboard signs around it was hard to miss, someone was playing some WW2 game (I saw what looked like a Lee-Enfield).

That would be Call of Duty:Big Red One most likely.

and that bsod is from a demo unit at a Wamart in the US

lol, thats about the only game ive seen that I wanna play............bsod, microsoft....HA HA HA

I suppose they could look on the bright side of things and be happy they have one considering the demand for the things promises that you won't see one on a shelf for a while.
