I'd like to start by thanking CornMaster for re-opening this thread & giving me the opportunity to post my opinion on this matter & also to clear up some misleading statements made by the author. It is not my intention to start a flame war...Just to tell my side of the story.


For those of you who are still wondering who the unnamed "shark" is who the author repeatedly refers to above...I believe that would be yours truly. If I am mistaken please disregard the following monologue.

*The following comments are made under the assumption that I'm the unnamed "shark".*

Yes I did make a rather ill-advised brutal assault. Yes I did use some inappropriate language in that assault. As a result, my posting privileges were suspended for a week. I didn't agree with the punitive measures, I made my appeals to the proper people & got turned down, served my ban & returned.


Now on to addressing the inaccuracies in this thread...I never said that my country is perfect/there's nothing wrong with it, in fact, I challenge anyone (especially the author of this thread) to find proof that would prove me wrong. I don't appreciate your diatribe of lies Weimar, if you're going to air out all of this old junk please get your facts straight before you do. I was content to leave things as they were. But, I'm not willing to sit by and watch you manipulate the story to your liking, I'm not part of your fantasy world, nor do I wish to be. These forums are part of the real world, with real people interacting. I haven't "made peace" with you because I don't want to. I don't like you & I see nothing wrong with that. As it's impossible to like everyone you ever interact with. And in the future, if you want you refer to me, do it by name. I'm a man, I can handle it.


I'm going to stop now, before I get myself into trouble with the ruling class again...Once again, I appreciate this opportunity to offer my side of the story.

well, to reply to that. yes, it was gjts00 that I had a problem with. but I no longer have this problem with him. I would expand on what he said, that iy was clearley a 2 way war with both of us at, what I would say, equal fault.

ok, I probably did 'step on toes' in what I said, I do that often, and for that I apoligise

but the 2 things I still think I have, are this: that the thread was a joke, and it was misinterpreted. that IS 2 part, and I do take some fault. and secondley, I objected to being called the "king of spam" in a thread where I was not spamming. I think that these 2 things made our anger boil.

gjts00 may not 'like' me, but I still hold to my position that I dont dislike anyone. I hope that we can both navigate the forums peacefully. *toast* to the day we play civ II one on one
