Hey all! I formatted my hard drive the other day, went to reinstall Civ 4 and the CD will not install past the Statue of Liberty.bik which if I recall is the last file to install off the disc.

What I am wondering, is there a way, using Windows XP to install the rest of the files off of the 2nd disc? They are in the regular format which I cannot think of now, but Ultimate Zip will not open it.

I tried a trick that I found back when I still had 2000 to get AoE 3 to run on 2000 (Run->CMD->Setup/a) but all they do is refer me to the control panel.

If there is anything, no matter how complicate please tell, I don't have the money right now to go out and get a new copy and I was hoping with the reformat BtS would work better.

Any thoughts?

Nevermind, I remembered something.

This had happened to me when installing on this computer (opposed to mine) and what I found then was if the files are there already the installer will skip it instead of replacing it. So I placed the Statue of Liberty Bik which was causing the problems into the correct folder, and voila, it asked for the 2nd disc when I went through instead of getting hung up on it. Phew, I was getting REALLY scared there..
