[SOLVED] Update Help - Verify Integrity of Game Cache

Hi there - My computer has patch 1.0.1.217, but my wife has patch 1.0.1.167, and we currently are unable to play multiplayer. She has restarted her computer to trigger a re-login into Steam. We have verified in Steam - Game - Properties that the game is to download and sync to latest updates. She has internet access - And attempted to load the game via DirectX 9, and DirectX 10/11. Is there a way to trigger a patch update for her computer?

In Steam

View - Game List
Right Click Civlization V - Properties
Local Files Tab
-> Click Verify Integrity of Game Cache

This will verify your current files to what I guess Steams knows to be true, and will fail the check if your computer is not up to date. On my wife's machine she had 6 failed files, where then it downloaded the new patch. We can now play.

Ah yes, I'd forgotten about the verify files thing. I did that and it fixed a file. I appreciate your help and will post here if that fixes it.
