- I like that mountains can boost :c5faith:. This is a very thematic implementation, in my opinion.

- I'm not keen on the art style. The colors of the terrain are a bit too vibrant for my liking, and the cities don't look like one city so much as a bunch of tile improvements being clumped together.

- According to the features thread, rainforest will be a type of terrain in this game. I'm very curious to see how they distinguish jungle and rainforests.

- Also in the features thread, tundra is not mentioned under the terrain types. I don't know if that list is comprehensive or not, but I'll be disappointed if tundra isn't in the game.

- If it's not a comprehensive list, it would be nice if coral reefs were a coastal terrain that yielded :c5science: later in the game.

There is no difference; "rain forest" is just the Civ VI name for jungle. Just as "woods" is used instead of forest.

We haven't seen any yet, but that doesn't mean it's not in the game. We haven't been shown any polar regions.

same for :c5science: IMO. People are arguing against it but to me it makes sense.

Have you seen the corroding (wrong english word maybe, pardon me) houses "pouring" out of the citycenter? That looked quite organic to me... In an interview Ed referred to the district idea in a way that it abstracts diversity in regions with a major city as key-spot. Looking at it this way makes it more compelling.

Concerning the general style: Question of taste (and maybe readability of things as Firaxis states). I like it very much!

It's not comprehensive - only confirmed information got included. Very likely that tundra will be a terrain-type as well as all the other terrain-types we used to have.

*hmmh* - ok. I really don't care that much though. :king:

While we're on the subject, now that wonders (some of them at least) are going to have certain terrain requirements, has it been confirmed whether or not start biases will be returning to 6?

Oops, I guess I missed that. Thanks for setting me straight. I'm not sure why they felt the need to change "forest" to "woods". That's strikes me as change for the sake of change; not that it matters one way or the other.

That makes sense. The only gameplay footage I've seen thus far is a few minutes of China, who could easily started towards the equator.
