I suppose this ought to teach me, going away from Civ for six months, but anyway am back now and nice to see things have got better.

Need some help....

Am playing Test of Time Extended version. Due to a bit of rustyness I inadvertantly let the Spanish land their ship first on Centaurus. Anyway My Ship landed a few years later and I expected to find a Settler/Engineer/Colonist on the new planet so I could carry on. Several years have since passed and still no settler.

Am I doing something wrong??

I had this problem too, but it was a long, long time ago so I don't remember much about it. It might be a bug. Have you tried to install the patch for TOT?

This is definitely a bug - although it only manifests itself sometimes. Despite claims to the contrary the patch does not appear to fix this. Not sure there is anything you can do about it - maybe reload a save just before your landing on AC since the bug appears to be intermittent.

I have only ever reached AC twice and both times I got there first. Must be really annoying because there is no way for you to be able to continue unless you cheat (Give yourself the amount of settlers and units you would have recieved) or if for some unknown reason you managed to get the computer to give you one of its alien cities.

At least it wasn't me just a bug in the system!!!!!!!!!!

Shame I am now in 2037 and a bit pigged off. But who cares!!!!!!!!!
