Something wrong with Mcnulty's postcount?

I just discoverd this member named Mcnulty ,who has clearly posted several posts ,but who's postcount just stays at 0.Strange thing.

edit: Lol that's right Mikoyan ,i tottaly forgot that.

The guy must have posted about 200/300 reply's on this forum and still no postcount ,darn.I searched on his name and i see he post's very reguraly ,but only in RPG.

I belive he is a member from another site demogame who joined are RPG sense only two other Civ sites have one so far.

Look up the poster 'Great Iguanaman'

He got +300 posts, and put in a custom avatar. Then, when the RPG was discounted, the custom avatar stayed, while his poscount entered the 150's.

The RPG Posts do not count in our Post Count.

Oct - I remembered GI (Great Iguanaman), he had a Custom avatar, when the RPG posts started to not be counted he still had his Avatar.

McNulty posts only in the Civ3 Demogame RPG. As these posts do not count for postcount, his official postcount is zero, yet he has 200-300 posts to his name.

It was not my intention make this conclusion in the first place when i started this thread ,i just thought the whole thing was very strange untill i got remembered that the Rpg forum doesn't count to Pc.

In anyway ,the posts that he does post in the rpg forum are most of the times of a considerable lenght ,about 20 to 40 lines by time to time ,in anycase much more text in total in the 300 posts of this man than of some guys in OT with 3000 posts ,with 1 line of text per posts.

So I guess it is time to include the RPG forum again as it seems to have passed through its spammy era and now there is no real reason to stop the posts from counting, although some Post counts are going to jump quite dramatically. Plus it will be one less arguement for people who like OT posts shouldn't count.

Something much cooler would be a system that ,if you post something under a specific amount of characters ,for ex. 500 char's ,it doesn't get counted towards youre postcount.
I think you would see quite a few posters who's PC drops from some thousands to a mers some hundred's or even below hundred.

Although ,it might have sideaffect's
"Clever" poster's who copy and past whole text's or article's in their post's reviewing or discribing it with only a few wods or lines.People that quote whole text's just to get the amount of char's ,etc.

That's because he created it.... Mine would jump up alittle bit over one thousand.... Into the 3,000's somewhere I believe.

And not only the sideaffects you said, but also "clever but annoying" posters would just have a bunch of random characters at the end of each post. And this would not be difficult, because they could just make a document of random characters (or probably just use a regular document, maybe for work or school, that they already have), then copy and paste it into each of their posts.

I don't think postcount matters that much anyway. (As long as I have my custom avatar. )

Well, not much is going on in the RPG...Yeah, Shai would have a lot if they did count again, you're right...But McNulty, he is an RPG poster like they said and because of the posts in that forum don't count, he has 0...BTW, is it fun to see Octavian and me with the same avatar?

No... It's confusing...

The RPG has dropped down alot.... It was going REALLY fast at the start, but it seems to have slowed down considerably now.

Perhaps posts could count after a certain date. Most of Shaitan's 9000 posts were from it's heyday, when simple answers were common. Nowadays, I can testify, posts are much, much, more detailed, as evidenced here. It's like OT, with more rules...
