Does anyone else end up with a "theme song" for your current Civ playing in your head?

I'm playing England for the first time since they got revamped however many versions ago that was, and they're great fun. England/Victoria really does have the feel of the mighty British Empire, especially if you use the Achievement as a goal.

Adding to the immersion is how I've been mostly up against "colonized" powers and have Spain as my main rival. So I can't get Spinal Tap's "The Sun Never Sweats" out of my head:

(The band misheard "The Sun Never Sets on the British Empire" and thought it was about the supernatural ability of British officers to stay cool in their desert uniforms while everyone else was hot and sweaty.)

And the sheer lyrical poetry!

Bolder than the pirates who used to rule the sea.
Braver than the natives, who never heard of tea.
They never knew what hit them, said the Spaniards later on.
Empire! It was here and now it's gone.

Even the biggest elephant never forgets
And the sun never sweats. No, the sun never sweats.

"Land Down Under" by Men at Work when playing as my native Australians. Waltzing Matilda gets a bit much over and over again.

I often have the Shaka Zulu theme "We are Growing" (from the TV mini-series released in 1986) in my head when playing as the Zulu.

I kind of want to go on a conquest spree as Bull Moose Teddy to the tune of "This Land Is My Land" now. :mischief:

A bit different game, but when you mention war... I remember waging one of my most memorable wars in EU4 while listening to La Marseillaise. That was when I was playing as Qing. And I was crushing the French Revolution to the song :p
As of now, I just play whatever music is appropriate in war in EU4. As I've played my last game as Italy, Canto dei Sanfedisti and Roman industrial theme were something I've listened to quite a lot.

That being said, the music in Civ's good to me, though listening to themes of Brazil or Kongo while nuking my enemy in the middle of war is not exactly immersive. Civ V did much better on that front :dunno:
