Sound Problem

This is a weird problem. I've had it on XP and now on Windows 7, and on different machines. Occasionally, so it isnt really an issue the sound crashes. The music seems to loop like a stuck record and I have to go into task manager and kill the exe. Does anyone know of a fix or is it just a feature.

I have experienced the same problem. I generally restart my computer to fix the problem but that seems like overkill. I would also like know of a different fix.
