Is there a program floating around that can take the music out of an mp3 file, or the lyrics?

1. No. It can't take the lyrics. It might know how to get them if the song has a certain name, but no removing them from the song itself.

Thats the point, I don't know how either. I just wanting to take the music out of it, leaving only the lyrics.

You want to split the music and vocal tracks, is that it?

I would love to have instrumentals of some of my songs....

I don't know if there is such a way. I'm sure there is, but you'd probably need the master recording to do it.

Great software. I highly recomend it.

This is for removing certain vocals, not the instruments. I misread the thread first time around, but I'm sure it will be useful to someone
