Space Images

Does anyone know of a website where I can get hi-res (or at least 1280x1024) images of pictures from or about space? Specifically I'm looking for images of the Milky Way galaxy, maybe even one with Earth pinpointed.

google image search set to large image size is your best bet for looking for specefic images. (Note that any of the complete Milky Way are artistic)

He's right though this thread has some absolutely great photos.

For obvious reasons you wont get a view of the whole galaxy, anyway but try perfections artist rendition, pretty nice.
