Spaceship Victory Question

If I only enable the Spaceship Victory option (no other victory conditions and no max turns checked) do I still have to build the spaceship by 2050ad or can I still complete it and win (as long as I beat the other to it)?

If you uncheck time victory, i presume that you can continue the game indefinitely until someone has acquired a checked winning condition.

Yep. The game will continue until someone completes the spaceship.
