Me and 2 other friends try to get a game happening. However when we started there were always connection problems and it took on average a minute a turn so after turn 10 and 12 minutes later we had to quit.

We were using LAN. Is it because we were using a router with 2 of the comps that it slowed down or is the problem somewhere else? Thanks

my understanding is that you still go through game spy and therefore the net. However i assume you are broadband so the problem is likely to be the speed of the slowest pc you are using - or of course the quality of the router. On which topic wireless sounds great but is not as quick or reliable as wired.

I do not connect threw gamespy and i thought wireless was much quicker for LAN
