BC go away..you will be reading this soon enough.

..............

Screenshots to come soon...I keep forgetting to take some.

I have been playing mind games with BC. I told him I know where his city is and I am building up my force to kill him. I honestly havent seen him yet.

I got a decent city for cottages but sucks for production. 2 clams will help build settlers and workers quickly. I went for a work boat and 2 quechens before building a settler or worker. I also founded a relegion to use for cultural/happiness. I have BW and see copper close by and this shoudl be a decent production city since it has cows..settler soon.

I just told BC that I popped a settler and I am moving him back to my capital...I really like to play mindgames with him because in the pitboss game ...( :D sorry BC but you were). SO I figured I might bluff him into building a bunch of early troops while I out tech him to superior troops. This spoiler was posted today to sorta back that claim up. I probably cant outplay many people but I can BS with the best of them.:mischief: :p

Rob i D...your next in a week or less.

Forgetting to take screenshots is not a valid excuse for civ4 since all you have to do is press one button and the rest is done for you. As for our game you can play all the mindgames you want, just don't expect them to work:)

I wouldnt use that on you Robi...us "Robs" are too smart to fall for mind games. BC is just a nervous youngster. This is the almost the longest I have gone without seeing a save..he may be worried.

Oh please, the reverse psychology is just so obvious, your gonna have to do better then that;)

And when you get the save remember to take a screenshot. If BC can manage it then you shouldn't have to many problems with your vast experience and all

nah its just called..remembering.

OK screen shots.
I did not build a worker at size 2 instead I chose a workboat since that will help build my settlers and workers quicker and its a better long term deal since I didnt have anything for a worker to do.

Where the quechen is going is where city 2 wil be founded. I get the copper adn some hill/forest for production.

inside of booville...not much to see yet.

Outside of booville
2 clams were ahrd not to pass on building a work boat early. Population can be whipped into troops quickly. Since Booville will lack hammers it will be a great GP or whipping or worker/settler city with commerce once I cottage everything including the bananas

Very good, 2 clams and a banana tree you can cottage spam all you want here. I'm surprised you haven't run into BC given how much you have explored. Is it a tiny map?

small I think...I will check next save.

I am worried that I popped 2 map huts and he was in those areas..but in an AI game it showed me the borders so maybe he is just a little ways away. More territory gives me more time..I seem to do better a little deeper in the game.

Once I find him..constant harassment will begin. not attacks just constant presence of my troops... cutting roads out of his territory..that sort of thing. I want to make sure he has to protect every settler and every worker.

If its small then you have plenty of time. From what i've seen of civ4 it seems like its programmed to keep humans as far away from each other as possible. You wouls see his borders on the maps you popped unless they expanded into the area after you popped them. Even then there is a lot of space between you. My one piece of advice would be when you find him get at him from different directions so he can't follow the trail even if it means some extra turns hike for your men.

Edit- BC just posted a decent screenie for a change and i'll say the same thing to you as i did to him. Based on your starts neither of you can blame it if you lose. This should be a top notch game.

Thanks Robi D... Good I like a fair start. I was planning on doing that coming from differnt directions. Oddly enough unless the land opens up soon..we might be separated by water. I can see the land necking down to a narrow passage so either it is a choke point or its the end of the land.

Never loss a multiplayer game yet...( never won one either) :)

Thats always a possibility. Even if there is a land connection between you guys it never hurts to build a few boats as a surprise

City building time. I got a few options..and really I cant decide. Leaning blue...

So red, blue or yellow.

Red will have cows, copper(border expand needed)
Yellow will have copper..no border expand needed
Blue will have copper( no border expand) stone and dyes with expansion...

I like blue but hate the extra distance from Booville.

I would go blue, but you will need a city slightly south inbetween the two to link it up otherwise its a big spread

grs at CDZ suggested 1N of red..extra good city tile...

BC is heading towards the site..he is about 6 tiles out from blue..I have a quechen that will attempt to catch him in the open lands and the one with the settler.

new shots next save.:) BC declared war and killed his warrior on my quechen. He attacke don a 50% battle..brave or stupid, I think he is getting impatient. I am getting inside his borders wiht a really hurt quechen..scarging him and may pillage.

OH and I cant find a friggin horse on the entire map. I am guessing 1 single black tile somewheres is the horses. He needs them so that why my quechen is sacrifcing his life to scout. No horses...no need for spears yet.

So you have met BC. 1N of red is good too but it still leaves your cities to spread out so the next one has to be between the two. Not that it should be a problem you have a good area for 4 or 5 cities where you are.

5 cities is all I want then the serious war butt kicking commences. I plan on hindering his growth with some units whiel keeping some back for a big stack

This game is over....

A gap in my coverage to teh north allowed him to sneak in. I think he attack one of my quechens and idint notice. He has 6 units within striking range of my only metal city which had just finsihed a settler...

Couldnt whip anything so its done. I can build anythign in my captial I started clearing forest for another settler and now i cant get anythign out in time...35 turns..ouch.

The setteler migth make it to an iron source. IF he goes south i can make it if he goes north i am toast. Eitehr way unless he screws up..i am done.

didnt screw up :)

and i hadnt killed a quecha where my chariots came thundering in, there just was a massive gap there.

im surprised you didnt notice my huge growth in the power graph tbh, i was about double your power and still growing as ive only been building war chariots for like 30/40 turns.

I noticed it too late...

Gee, why didn't you leave a gap for me:). I guess that puts a dint in your unbeaten record:lol:
