Spooler subsystem

it's the printing system. it's propably trying to make your printers known to all other workstations around. Does the message include a Destination-Adress? it propably is just internal traffic, not meant to go out to the internet.

I dont have a printer hooked up though. I should have mentioned, this seems to have started popping up in zonealarm when I installed the software for the video card.

microsoft doesn't need actual hardware to generate network-traffic :) propably the spooler subsystem is broadcasting your net to look for printers in your local network...

as always with these things: when in doubt, just block it. if something stops working properly you can always turn it on again.

Yeah thats what Ive been doing, but since I wasnt sure, I wasnt checking the 'remember' box in ZA. Now that I think of it, I also recently did a big windows update, that might have something to do with the printer/spooler thing. Ok as long as its not something malicious. Thanks Ovi:)
