Are you the ruler of Scotland, or officer? isn't it kinda weird to be officer to an NPC? o_0

Scotland is an NPC nation at the moment, but you could certainly take the current officer as your character, or create a new one to serve as ruler and the existing ruler would become your subcommander.

Or you could join any existing nation. It's up to you.

Will your name and class still be the same then?

Turn 3

Officer Searches:
Phillipe: Success! Your new officer is a sturdy warrior called Manuel Trabaja.
Mohammed: Failure.
Josef: Success! Your new officer is a Retainer, who agreed to become the wife to Emperor Josef. However, when the emperor insisted she change her name to Wife Wifehampton, she demanded monetary compensation in the form of 2 gold.

Item Creation:
Alexandra: Success! She has fashioned a new suit of Iron Armor, boosting the defense of men outfitted with it.

Rome crushes Venice in surprise invasion!

In a totally unexpected move, Latium, which had never responded to Venetian defiance, rapidly expanded and equipped their army and launched a surprise invasion of their rival city-state. After encircling and besieging the city for nearly two weeks without surrender, the Romans stormed the city gates, and tore apart the poorly trained Venetian army using their new cavalry units. When the Venetians called on their leader to rally the army to a last stand, they found the young minister only willing to hide in his castle in fear. Starving and desperate, the citizens of Venice strung up their coward of a leader and surrendered to Imperator Machiavelli, with almost no remaining resistance. Rome now stands as the unchallenged ruler of the Italian peninsula.

Latium: +Venice, -50 men, -15 horses

Mongol horde carves devastating path through Eastern Europe!

The huge Mongol horde, with its superior numbers and arms, has swept across the eastern edge of Europe, sacking everything in its path. Even grimmer, the swarm has outfitted itself even better with its conquests, and it is only a matter of time before it reaches one of the new nations.

Scottish army kills Stalintopian scouts!

Several scouts on recon missions in southern Scotland never returned from their assignments. At first, Emperor Josef I was too busy dealing with the Welsh rebellion to notice. Until, that is, one morning his was informed of 7 bodies lying in front of the castle gates of Stalingrad, with countless arrow wounds in their bodies and their tongues cut out. Scrawled on a note attached to an arrow was ‘Try and get a report from these men now’. This open hostility from Scottish warrior Angus Macduff is partially in response to Welsh leader Arthur Brewyn’s defection to Stalintopia, leaving Scotland as the only opposition to Stalintopian rule in the British Isles.

Pirates begin to roam the seas!

Reports of large pirate groups launching raids on coastal cities are beginning to pour in. The most organized groups are the revival of the Viking hordes in Scandinavia and Moroccan pirates near the Strait of Gibraltar, but coastal cities are being raided from the Mediterranean to the Baltic.

Egyptian tribes unite into organized kingdom!

The scattered groups of Egyptian nomads roaming the lands around the Nile have come together into a single kingdom. This is the first Middle Eastern kingdom established since the birth of the Ottoman Empire, and the two will clearly compete for control over the region.

Bide time. Rob is not ready to make a large scene yet.
First, bank economy (if this needs to be done). Start research on a mystic item called "Chain Mail". It may hold magical defensive properties. Or it could just be plain metallurgy and the laws of physics.
In the meantime, stroll around the Kingdom and have lunch with officer mates.

OOooook... That has me worried. Should I go paranoid and send you on a neverending quest for the Holy Grail?

Hm.. I just noticed that my second city doesn't have stats, while everyone else's cities do..

What second city?

For my city of Cordoba, can I use any officer to raise its stats or just my King? And also can I still be attacked by Morrocan pirates even though I have no actual coastal cities?

no random events to award story writers?
