Hi again, this mod adds Stalin as a leader of Russia (The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics). Kept the Cossack, removed the Krepost, and added the Red Army. As always, any major bugs, let me know!

Sweet! Now I can have Hitler and Stalin on the same map. Being Russian, I thank you greatly for this addition.

Really like this mod, time for some WW2 scenario's :)

Red army is a bit odd though. It was always their number and never their strength (or morale for that matter) that made them powerfull.. In fact, at many times they were fighting with 1 rifle for 2 or 3 soldiers.

"Since we can't find Leon Trotsky, I guess you're it"... This one made my day XD

Thanks Emerald_Knight for another nice civ working towards a WWII scenario. Are you planning to do other WWII leaders, such as Churchill, Roosevelt, Mussolini and Hirohito? I would love to see these characters modded in with your ironic descriptions :)

EDIT @CYZ

Well, sheer unit strength could also be seen as number strength. You could made those units require less hammers to train to better represent that, true, but with the 1upt system it wouldn't be comfortable.
On the other hand, their morale was indeed a major factor in them slowly stopping the nazi advance through the steppes. They weren't equipped as well as the Wehrmacht, but they were strong people accustomed at fighting under privation and in awful climates.

Tough, I've got to say, I would also love to see the T-34 as an UU. The T-34 was way better than any german panzer, with stronger hulls, front diagonal deflectors and one hell of a main cannon. Where the Wermacht outclassed 'em was in tactics, training and organization.

Примите мою благодарность за данный мод:)

I think you've watched too many american made ww2 movies. Russian military at the beginning of ww2 was much superior to German, or any other belligerent in the theater. What Russia did not have was competent middle ranks in the military, unfortunately the purges have removed experienced military ranks. Russia was definitely in a position to just walk in the Berlin in 1942...

Why dont we have a penalty for each civilization? I mean, we only have benefits but the penalties that each nation might have is not present. This might make the selection is a little more interesting. Playing as Stalin might prevent you from building Cathedrals or inhibit research of Piety. :) Just a thought.

Hey, for some reason it says that when you start in the industrial era that I can't found cities because happiness is too low xD

Nice, although I always imagined Stalin having an ability that allowed him to keep production going despite unhappiness. Disregarding unhappiness with an iron fist, so to speak

This mod looks so awesome cant wait to try it. Just thought I would say something first. In the loading screen for Stalin why don't you have anything about the cold war? and Stalins UA should be + Xproduction but - Xfood and The Red Army, maybe they get a bonus in Tundra but each X amount of units adds to X amount of unhappiness. His other bonus should be free factories in first 4 cities when researched Industrialization.

But hey those are just my ideas.
