All's quiet on the Northern Front
UMEPR forces and Mexican Loyalist forces are in a complete standstill. Each one having laid traps, waiting for the other to advance into them. But besides border skirmishes, nothing has really happened, and the war drags on.
Roman Army Obliterated!
The so-called Roman army in the Yucatan has been entirely annihilated, and upon inspection of the weaponry, they're from all over the place, even some vintage Soviet machine guns. It is impossible to pinpoint the origin of this army.
Akbar Abdul-Matin and Ugudei Khan Deliver Ultimatum to UMEPR
In a joint-speech in Sri Lanka, the Khan and Akbar Abdul-Matin have delivered an ultimatum to UMEPR.
'Give independence to those Islamic areas that wish it, or you shall suffer the consequences.'
was the most memorable sentence in the ultimatum.
Strange Zulu Behavior
The Venezualan Communists, although have been continually beaten back, have gotten a dubious weapons shipment. They are of Zulu make, delivered by an unmarked ship. Many people are pointing to ComIntern, still others say that Zulu communists secretly smuggled them there. And still others say that the Zulu government's crusade against communism was a cover-up to mask communist sympathy.
Strange UMEPR Behavior
Ships with UMEPR decals have been seen bombarding Communist Mexico's coastal cities and farming communities. UMEPR officials are scrambling to see if they have either an act of espionage or a couple of rogue generals, or both.
Investigation into UMEPR Government turns up...
Very little. The only thing American Officials can turn up is that a few wealthy UMEPR party members have admitted to funding the organization as a private venture, but if there were any documents that linked UMEPR government's creation of CIB, they've been burned, or at least put in a remote location.
Khan calls for 'Worldwide Ant-Communist Alliance'
Along with delivering an ultimatum, the Khan of Mongolia calls to the world for an alliance against communism, and 'containing it wherever it may spread it's vile tentacles.
