Standard Earth Scenario will crash, how about Huge Earth Scenario?

Hi, I was playing ROM 2.8 Scenario yesterday. First, I selected Standard Earth Scenario and chose Persia as my civ, but the game crashed the first turn. Then, I selected Huge Earth Scenario (28 Civs) and chose Persia as my civ. The game is so interesting that I am playing it the whole night. But now the speed is slower and slower, and I have to wait for 1 minute for each turn. I worry that Huge Earth Scenario will crash as Standard Earth Scenario.

Has anyone in this forum played for Huge Earth Scenario before? If so, would you please tell me whether you can complete the game without crash? Thanks!

it will eventually crash but then you can load from an autosave and it will be much faster

I'll have to check that standard earth map file then and see if I can fix the crash problem...

Thanks for your answer! I have played CIV4 for several hundred hours in the last 4 years. This Huge Earth Scenario is one of the most interesting scenarios I have played. Hopefully it will not crash in the end.

Get AND, makes the turns go by much faster.
