Class Y - Demon (Near mass of Earth and within hot zone. Extreme case of class Q with temperatures over 800C, metallic pools on surface, and emits thermionic charges. Can pose a menace to navigation.)

What scenarios we shall make?

????

1. Tos= UFP, Klingon, Romulan (at least). Simple war scenario (largest will win, limited to pre-warp to tos era)?

2.The Undiscoverd Country= UFP, Klingon, Romulan (at least).
If UFP or Romulan: Make Alliance with all major Races (Klingon, Romulan)
If Klingon: Destroy UFP in 50 anno (before klingon athmostsphere is lost, see star trek VI)

Are these good for start. Plz give some suggestions, and foregive me my horrible English.

And I could do a website for us???

What about a UFP vs Borg scen?
And maybe a "first step in the universe" scen, exploring the near stars (I got a nice map of the stars within 20 ly from Sol) with an early warp ship, and founding the first colonies. Maybe with some intercept from romulans ;)
And I think a Dominion War scen is a must, UFP,Klingons and Romulans vs Dominion and Cardassians

Yes, but a few units are already finished.
I still need some ideas for race-specific buildings for
- Romulans
- Klingons
- (Kazon)
- (Hirogen)

Btw: Just of the difficulty I would say to leave the Kazon and Hirogen at for the moment, and maybe add them later...

We need someone to work on the tech tree when I'm done with the buildings list. Who want to do that?
Oh, and could someone please post an english (conquests) labels.txt for me ?
 
I have one, but I haven't installed any patches so I can still play WH. Does any of the patches change it? If not then I'll upload one. Either way I may and then let you patch it if you want. Just let me know.
 
For Romulan and Klingon specific buildings, could we not use the one from BotF? We could also use there tech tree, it has 60 separate techs, with descriptions as well so the civilopedia entries will already be done.

Id like to see an open scenario like the regular civ3 game, with 4 eras. even if it is jsut limited to the alpha quadrant.

I'm talking about specific city improvement, so it needs to be something that can be build in every city. I didn't find anything in romulan tech tree, for klingons maybe the prison mine (or whoever it is called in english), just improving production and causes unhappy citizen.
The BotF tech tree would be a good custom tech tree for all races, so we just need a few civ specific techs (for civ specific buildings, recources, etc.)
Do you want to make the tech tree, and civilopedia for techs?

Yeah, a few maps without any special "misson" would be nice. Unfortunately we can't use random maps...so we have to create a few maps from scratch. Those don't need to be accurate to real star positions I think.

Another thing...
What should be the currency? Just credits or Latinum?
What recources do we need? A few ideas:
- Dilithium (Strategic, needed for ships)
- Singularity (Strategic, Just for Romulans, instead of Dilithium)
- Latinum (Bonus or Luxury)
- Wormhole (Bonus, increase trade) ?
- Natives (Bonus (or strategic?) increase production and food) ?
- Iconian Relicts (Strategic, Increase Trade, Needed for Iconian Gate)
 
I think the romulans should be able to build ships without a strategic resource , giving them an advantage, i think teh singularities are artificially created anyway, so perhaps the may need something like a singularity lab in order to build there more modern ships, a civ specific great wonder or soemthing.

Other possible resources-

-Neutronium: Maybe for more modern ships like the defiant, scimitar and negh'var
-Duranium?: Some form of basic alloy used to construct basic ships
-Romulan Ale: Luxury Resource

I think we should use latinum for currency, and alos have it as a bonus resource.

Ill try and wrok out a tech tree if you want, if you have a finished list of buildings and units it would help as well as what scenarios youre planing on doing, a different tech tree might be needed for each one.

Ok, I updated the lists and put all in one file (Races, Buildings, Units) unfortunately we got just a few wonders until now. Ppl, post your ideas for wonders! But City improvement list is completed as well as the units lists for UFoP, Klingons, Romulans, Ferengi and Cardassians (maybe we can add additional units sometimes...but it's already a long list of graphics we need ;) )
So, if you got time, please start with the custom tech tree, but remember that civ specific buildings go into the civ specific tech trees, not into the custom one
