Hey everybody, I haven't posted in awhile........... but I'm going ok on finding a new forum. I think we're going back to Wavenom... again. But they've come back and look pretty good (again)... I'll post as soon as I get something for sure.

hmm, a problem occured. I finally finished a first playable version of the Sol Sector map, but in my first test game (me: Federation, AI:Borg) the AI never founded cities, the comp never builds Colonists(Settler), maybe thats because there is no unit to scout the area with at the beginning?
I know that the Ai knows how to settle, cause, if I put a settler and a transport ship into his city (in editor) he WILL found a new colony. So what is the problem? Any ideas?

tnx for the offer, but I think we should first solve the settlement problem, maybe (but I don't hope so) we will have to change the terrain system from sea based to land based (worst case). However, your help is very welcome.

Oh, and bad english isn't a problem, mine is aweful too :)

- I want creat a map for Dominium War ,and In war nobody buy settlers.

- In your test map change the Map to Revaled (u said need explorer units) and see what the computer do...

- yeah, but either all scens are sea based or land based, changing it for every scen would be confusing (and would cause problems with the graphics)

With the problem with AI settling cities?:

-When you gave the AI a transport plus settler, they founded a new colony
-When you gave the AI a settler but no transport they didnt(did they have tech to build a transport?)

The only thing i think you could fix this with would be to give everyone a seafaring trait? or change theyre building priorities in the civ editor so they build more transports or anval units.
 
Hey all,
I had my storage drive crash on me. Lost all my data for the mod.
I've gotten too busy at the moment dealing with life and just playing the game (now that it's been reinstalled) to do much work on the borg units. I don't have the time to hunt down all the files and info in one session to get back up and running.

Kenta'arka, when you solve the test scenario, will you post for everyone to try? I can get most of the information at once if you do.

When I give the AI a transport and a settler it founds new cities
If he has to build those first, he doesn't. I saw him using Borg Spheres (transport 1) but not founding new cities

Yes, sure. The more ppl try, the better the balancing. Can't do that on my own ;)
 
What kind of leadershead do you need?
- Flag (for example WWII on Pacific C3C scen)
- 2D Image (for example The Ancien Mediterran Mod)
- 3D Graphic (for example the original game)

The 3D graphics is hard but if my friend can help me we will can make.
If no I can make 2D image or Flag.. (I think the Flag are Good because who is the leader of the UFoP (Sisco or Picar Don't leader(just Capitan). The real Leaders Don't famouse for all player))
 
Hmm, either Flag or Original-Game like. Would prefer the 3D one, but I know it's hard to do, and a well made flag leaderhead is ok ;)

Search the main customization & creation forum for my leaderhead request thread. I've got pictures on what i'd like the borg leaderhead to be based from. It was titled something like StarTrek/Borg Leaderhead request.
 
Good news: I think I fixed the problem :)
I'm gonna test it, and if no new problems appear, I'm gonna add the Borg Transwarp Gate building and post the test version
 
Bad News: It's not fixable. The AI don't like single-tile islands and still don't builds colonists. But if it gets one, the AI knows how to use it. That sucks! Either we give every civ some kind of colonization program, or we have to make the whole scen land-based :cry:
