Star Wars: The Mod - Unit requests

Hey guys,

Well, I've finally got the rendering process done on my first all-new unit, the V-19 "Torrent" fighter. I've finished the default, run, and attacks 1&2. That leaves me with a victory and death animations left to render. Due to work, I'll post it either Thursday night or Friday.

Now that I have all the tools and now know the process of making units from scratch, what I make from now on 'should' be quicker than the year I've been working on this. Are there any particular units you guys need done next? I'm probably not good enough to due human animations yet, but, looking at the list, there are enough other units for me to do.

Probably my preferences would be:
Jedi Interceptor--Bjornlo only did the Jedi Starfighter from Ep. 2, correct?
V-Wing--This baby, not the one from Roque Squadron.

I think we also need to replace the X-wing and Y-wing, if we have time too.

Like I said, those are just what I would prefer to do, just tell me if I need to go in a different direction.

EDIT: We had a similiar discussion about including music into LOTM. We decided that since it was illegal, we did not want to mess with it. I, for example, do not own any of the Star Wars soundtracks (well, my mom has an LP of Episode 4's...) so I would gain free music with the mod...

Yaaaaaayy! This mod has a spark again! Thanks so much for coming back, man! We need the V-wing; Bjornlo said he'd eventually do the ep. III fighter. And yeah, we need to redo my crappy Y-wing, and maybe just the attack on civclubs X-wing. Thanks again for coming back.

Well, when you have to use the search to find a thread...you know no one has been posting.

Alright, V-Wing it is.

However, you made a Y-wing, Odin? The only Y-Wing and X-Wing I knew of were made by Dark Sheer a long time ago. If there is some more recent stuff, than we can wait awhile on this.

Civ Club's X-Wing - This one is pretty good; sans the attack. The only real problem with this one is the s-foil timing, and the attack. But with a little c'n'ping and some frame modification (*Chris*cough*) we can make it look perfect.
My Y-wing Ulgh, this was a sloppy unit. It was one of my first, and I was experimenting with my way of making 3d units (render each direction, and then c'n'p the animations.) It came out crappy, but Vuldacon fixed the transaprency. If we're really desperate, we could could just have it resized (as I constantly bug Varlin about, ). However, the animations are ugly, and the ship is off-center. I may just redo this one.

Hey the mod's back!

It's kinda funny how everyone came out of the woodwork once someone posted something.

I was actually thinking about making the Jedi Interceptor, but I was waiting to see if bjornlo would get back to it. I don't mind if you make though, Olorin. I do still have my Republic Cruiser unit I have to finish, although I haven't touched it in like 2 months.

I did make a more accurate city and leader list for all the civs and I am compiling information for a building list which I'll post soon.

Do any of you guys have a model of the V-Wing? I couldn't find one, so I've started the process of making a model. However, I wouldn't mind going the east way out

Stormtrooper is my all time favorite character. So that's why I was so concerned.

i think we need a re-vamp of all the old units, the stormtrooper wasn't a very good unit from pleb if i remember...

Yeah, but we probably need to get all the new units made first, then we can go back and revamp old ones. Or revamp old ones as an occasional break from making new ones.
