Okay, here's a basic unit-making report. Orthanc just finished the Rebel torpedo tank, and it came out awesome,
. I love the way he does Star Wars units...BlackHand PM'ed me the other day, and tells me he will create all of these units:

. If Olorin gets back to me, I could possibly use both POV-ray and OpenFX to make units, so we're cool. Currently, though, I'm fixing TheMorpheus' AT-AT, (adding red lasers, shrinking it, centering it, etc.).Last I checked, (March, maybe?) Chris 85 was working on that Republic Cruiser. Any updates, man?
Polyphemus also posted a preview of the Eta-2 Jedi Interceptor, and it looked super. Are you still working on it?
Olorin said he'd do the V-wing fighter, but that's probably not until after LotM is finished. So yet another reason to bug the LotM team to release it already,

.Just a follow-up to that post, since I haven't posted in a while. I'm still here and still working on units, mostly work with texturing, civ-coloration, and that sort of thing...all of the time consuming nonsense. The easy part will be animating them. I'll need help with palettes, though, if anyone would like to commit ahead of time to helping me when I need that?

Um, is it just me, or does the Sandtrooper from the unit request list look just like a normal trooper, only dirty? BTW, I second that Magna Guard thingy, looks cool

To lighten the workload I think these units should be done, seeing as the ones I got rid of weren't really needed.

Ok... I'm back at it. I've been experimenting with Bryce, Poser and OpenFX, and I've made some headway (woohoo!) I've been redoing my Y-wing in Bryce, and it's going pretty smoothly (I also became friends with pallettes, .) Here's a quick preview (in the Rebel's civ color):

Working on learning Poser, working again at Starbucks (was off for 6 weeks with an ACL tear), and schooling myself.
Once I start getting some more time (and learn to effectively use Poser), I'll start cranking out land units.
